Kumalie is proud to have supported Port Waratah Coal Services (PWCS) to mature it’s sustainability reporting. The company loads coal for export in the Port of Newcastle, NSW, and in 2016 celebrated 40 years of service. It’s 2016 Sustainable Development Report is now structured around the company’s five business drivers to better align with the organisation’s business strategy and internal reporting.

Port Waratah is one of the first Australian companies to publicly support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (see page 8). The report also responds to many of the disclosures included in the Global Reporting Initiative’s new GRI Standards.
