ARISE publishes 2016 annual review

Achieving Reduction of Child Labor in support of Education (ARISE) yesterday published its 2016 Annual Review, A journey together, coinciding with World Day Against Child Labour. The report provides substantial data on the impact of the program, including that 9,742 more children are now in formal education in Brazil, Malawi, Tanzania and Zambia.

ARISE is a joint initiative of the International Labour Organization (ILO), JTI, and Winrock International. The partnership program engages with communities, teachers, farmers, leaf technicians, business leaders and governments. It also collaborates with other partners, drawing on their expertise, experience, and resources to deliver tailored community-led solutions.
