Kelsey Barrett, Founder & Managing Director


Kelsey is an experienced sustainability consultant and communications specialist. Based in Newcastle NSW, she currently works with clients in Australia, the Netherlands, the UK and Switzerland. She enjoys sustainability strategy and policy development, helping companies find the link between their business goals and sustainability performance. She also enjoys report writing and corporate communications.

Before founding Kumalie, Kelsey worked as:

  • Group CSR Manager and Senior Sustainability Analyst at Triodos Bank in Zeist, the Netherlands
  • CSR consultant & project/account manager at Corporate Edge in London, UK
  • Managing Legal Editor for Butterworths/Reed Elsevier in Sydney, Australia.

She has worked with multinational companies, SMEs, non-profit organisations and government departments.
